Two kids. A handful of stones. One of the most expensive views in the world.
The Brooklyn Bridge stretches across the East River. Lower Manhattan rises in the distance beneath an approaching storm. And in the middle of it all, two children doing the timeless thing children do: throwing stones into the water.
Millions of people travel across oceans to see this skyline that the boys don’t even seem to notice. They’re too busy playing.
What a beautiful contrast: the immensity of this view and the smallness of their figures. It almost feels like it shouldn’t fit, but it does. New York lives in the little things, in tender stolen moments like this one.
