In addition to these, one of the main places we will explore is the iconic High Line, which opened to the public in 2014. This 1. 45-mile-long elevated green-way and rail trail has rapidly become one of Manhattan's most beloved parks, attracting international visitors and New Yorkers alike as well as world-renowned architects. Around this area, we'll see plenty of creative luxury condos too! This 1930's elevated railroad offers a unique perspective of New York, serving as a tribute to both the City's urban life and naturalistic richness. With hundreds of different plants and trees, the beautiful views of the Hudson River and the neighbouring New Jersey coast, the relaxing atmosphere of the High Line is as captivating as its fascinating history.

Come enjoy magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline from two of the most spectacular Brooklyn neighborhoods. Discover the past of this coastal area and how it changed overtime, take photos of the beautiful brownstones with a stroll through peaceful tree-lined streets, walk along the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and Dumbo Park for iconic sights of the Financial District and the two bridges that connect Dumbo with Manhattan: Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge. We will see the 1922 Jane's Carousel, the restored Dumbo warehouse and stop by Washington Street for your "Once Upon a Time in America" postcard picture. We will then cross the Brooklyn Bridge (an absolute must-do in NYC) for an unforgettable experience. The tour will end in the historic and well-preserved South Seaport area of Lower Manhattan.

Dive into the colorful walls of Bushwick with its collective of artists that since 2012 use street art to enrich their neighborhood with beautiful murals. Then let's take the subway to Williamsburg, an industrial hub until mid-20th century and home of one of the biggest contrasts existent in NYC: on one end the largest community of Hasidic (or Ultra-Orthodox) Jews of the US, on the other the lively streets and the fun hangs of the Hipsters. This tour includes stops at iconic vintage shops and a walk at the Domino Park with its old sugar factory and breathtaking views of Manhattan.

The history of NYC started on Manhattan's southernmost coast, an area that today hosts the heart of American finance and so much more. The city developed north but the south of the island is where most immigrants originally migrated to, where the majority of factories were located in the 19th Century, and these small neighbourhoods still carry the signs of those times gone by. Though most of them today are gentrified and have moved towards an upscale reality, the buildings still tell an old story that's worth telling and fascinating to hear. Come south of Houston Street with me where I'll unveil the history & secrets of Lower Manhattan. We'll observe the beauty of old cast iron buildings & fancy boutiques in SoHo & Nolita, plus stroll through Tribeca to immerse ourselves in the dense architectural eclecticism of the Financial District, New York's place of birth. Take the chance to enjoy an espresso in Little Italy accompanied by a true Italian like myself and see how it has been absorbed by Chinatown.

With this tour we will touch on some of the must-see places in the city as I help you get familiarized with the geography and urban structure of the island of Manhattan. As a licensed guide, I will provide commentary on the amazing architectural eclecticism of Manhattan and help you get acquainted with the 1811 grid plan, so you learn to navigate its streets and avenues. We will also stroll along 5th Avenue and its luxury stores up to Central Park, the most visited urban park in the United States with over 40 million visitors a year, where we'll enjoy some of its main attractions.
